Those are so cute. I was wondering what size of shoe they make up? I love these I think I am going to make a pair. Thanks for sharing
Thanks!
I made them to fit my feet, which take an 8-9 depending on the shoe. You really don't have to worry about pattern stitches, so you should be able to easily modify the pattern to your own feet.
I will be happy to help if you have any questions. :)
Those are really cute, Kim. I'm going to add them to my list of things I want to knit in the near future.
Hmmm, the url didn't post right the first time so I am trying again.
Anyway, here's a place to get suede soles for knitted slippers. Not sure if they are what you had in mind but I thought they were neat anyway . . .

It's still not posting the url properly (cuts it off).
So here it is in a few pieces . . .

Can't wait to try these out! They look so cute that I'm sure I'm going to have to make several pair as soon as my daughters see them. I never seem to be able to keep anything for myself..sigh.
Cute and comfy looking!!
I do not think so.
Super cute, thanks for sharing !
I can't wait to make these! Thanks for sharing! They are adorable!

These slippers are super cute. thank you for posting the pattern. I would never be able to make up a pattern like that. I do think I may have found a couple mistakes but I am a new knitter so I may be wrong. On the second section of the upper directions is says knit 24 turn. I think it should read purl 8 knit 14 turn. 24 leaves it lopsided. 3 says to knit across remaining stiches I think it should say purl? I can't wait to finish them. I will be sending them to a friend who just had a baby. Thanks
Hi, I found this pattern while searching the internet and I see that was posted a couple years ago so I don't know if I'll even get a response from this but I'm confused about something in the pattern. Its probably something painfully obvious (I'm a fairly new knitter).
In the upper section, after binding off the 14 sts and beginning down the sides....how do you keep the stitches seperate without having a loose string crossing over where the top of your foot would be?

I bought this same yarn so I can knit these. When will the pattern be back up?? :)
I think these are adorable and can't wait to start knitting them. I have read through the directions and have come across the same question as someone below.
In the upper section, after binding off the 14 sts and beginning down the sides....how do you keep the stitches seperate without having a loose string crossing over where the top of your foot would be?
there was no answer for the question posted. Could you e-mail me or post the answer incase perhaps someone else is having this problem? This would be very helpful because I am somewhat of a beginner as well. Thanks!
I'm sorry I didn't make it explict. It comes from being an amateur.
When I say "Keep the stitches separate" I mean that you have to knit each side with a separate skein. If you have a center pull skein you can use the center strand for one side & the outer end for the other. Does this make sense?
Because you posted anonymously I don't have an email for you. Please let me know if you have any questions.
I kind of get it. Could I just knit one side and then cut the yarn and move over to knit the other side? Are both sides the same lenth or is one 2 inches longer?

Thanks!
If you e-mailed me I never got it because my box was full. so if you send one could you send it again?
Thanks!
These are so CUTE! I am just attempting to make the Lion Brand Slipper Socks, and I am going to cast on for these too! I will post a comment when I finish them! Thanks!
The shoes are adorable. I especially like the buttons and lime green ribbon.
I'm just learning to knit and get the techniques for all of the individual pieces, but am lost at the assembly. Did you take any photos of the process? If so, can you post or e-mail them?

What a cute pattern. Thanks for sharing. Am thinking about making them as ballet pump style slippers as a gift. Do you think they would fit well if I just didn't make the strap, or is the strap necessary?
Thanks!
Really cute! Thanks for the pattern.
Hello, I do not agree with the previous commentator - not so simple
On the remaining 8 stitches of the upper, why does it say knit 5 OR 10 inches from cast off?
