20,000th Visitor Contest

I'm quickly coming up on my 20,000th visitor to my blog and I think that deserves a celebration!

Originally I was thinking of just giving away a couple skeins of handspun or maybe custom dyed yarn, but upon further consideration I realized that a) not everyone who reads my blog knits or crochets and b) this is a little more special and therefore deserves a prize that's a little more special.

So in honour of my 20,000th visitor, one lucky person will receive a pair of custom handknit socks of their very own. They may chose the colors & pattern if they like and the socks will be knit to their unique foot/leg measurements. :)

To enter, simply post a comment to this post. I will randomly select one winner when 20,000 visits have been reached.

Good luck and thanks for visiting!!

I posted about this contest on WiKnit, my knitting contest blog, and hopefully that'll send a few more people you're way. Not that you need it though (20,000 visitors - still amazes me!)

I have knit a few baby socks, but not yet gotten up the nerve to knit myself a pair of socks. I keep having problems with a gusset hole. ANYhoo, I'd LOVE to win a pair of handknit, custom made socks! WooHoo, that would be fun. :-)

Congratulations on your upcoming 20,000th post. I'm roughly a month away from my 100th post. I can't even imagine having done this as long as you!

What a great idea for a prize! Someone will be very lucky. People ask me all the time to knit them socks, and I give them the weirdest look - Do they know the love and time it takes to knit a pair of socks??? They're only for the specialest of special people!! :)
