Need Help With Color!
Went to my lys this morning and they didn't have a single skein of solid-color sock yarn! So after much searching on the internet I think I'm going to go with Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock Yarn, but I need help picking the color. My sock pal stated she likes just about any color, so long as it isn't too dark.
So, I'll be knitting these socks...
But which of the following colors should I use?

It's hard to vote on sock colors for other people. I'm so partial to blue that I am horribly biased.
I'm feeling green lately, so like Seanna Lea, I don't know how fair and unbiased my vote is either. Good luck. It is terribly difficult to find solid or even semisolid sock yarn here in NC.
I totally was thinking the sage before I even got to the end of your post (and saw you were leaning towards it)! I vote for sage!
Oh, I was leaning towards Sage too! It is beautiful - but then they all are! Those socks would look lovely no matter which of those colours you chose.
Those are going to be absolutely smashing!!! By the way, I voted for sage, but I do like green, so I'm very biased.
If they were for me, I'd want the sage. Lovely pattern!
I usually go for blues, but I voted for the sage--really like that color!
sage, absolutely! the old rose is pretty too, but the sage is delicious. :-)
Honestly, I think any one of those colors would look LOVELY in that pattern. But, like the others, I was drawn to the sage right away. I also really like the thought of the lilac, since I think lilac yarns in general looks lovely in a lace pattern.
