Potpurri

Home sick today... must have been all that fresh air, definitely not good for me!

Got a few things done yesterday...
I was going to make a sleep sack (thanks to Maggie for the link) out of the remaining fleece, but didn't have enough so I made a pillow for the cat's window hammock (modeled by Windle).

Apparently Windle wanted to be prominently featured in this post...

About 1" left to go before toe shaping. Hopefully I will finish it off tonight while watching Drive & Heroes! (They killed Peter! You Bastards!)

Found this at DataWhat, thought it was interesting enough to share:

So sorry that you are sick! Damn fresh air . . .

I love the kitty pillow. It looks very cozy for them.

Noooooo, not Peter! Someone will do something. Peter can't be dead.

It is so funny we both saw Hot Fuzz! Great minds, eh? I was surprised at Timothy Dalton too. I kept thinking, "Wait, is that really Timothy Dalton? He's just so funny." Hee hee!

Oh and the sock looks great.

I love the name of your kitty - Windle. Where did you get it? (The name, not the kitty!) Hope you're feeling better soon.

Windle Poons (the kitty) is named after a character in the Terry Pratchett novel "Reaper Man".

The kitty himself was a stray who adopted us when we were living out in the boonies. We believe he was staking us out for days and when he saw mine & Joanne's honeys on the back porch one evening decided to make his move. He was yowling out in the woods, far enough to make us look for him, but close enough to be easily found. He walked right up to Kris. When Kris gave him to me to hold, he immediately started licking my neck & nuzzling my ear.. there was no way we could give him up after that!

What a great story about how Windle found you. Windle's name did sound literary to me, that's why I asked. Very cool. :)
