I will vouch for your niceness - I know you personally. Kim is a most excellent person!
And even some of the snobbiest knitters must admit that these days there are some amazing manmade fibers out there - distinguishing between natural and non-natural can be difficult, and acrylic isn't *necessarily* a bad word. For heaven's sakes, Rowan uses nylon, "microfiber," etc. etc. in some of their most beautiful yarns. There is a difference between "acrylic" and "ack-rylic!"
I'm Kanga (apparently I'm getting pretty good at giving time outs--thanks Ian for all the practise!) and a Lemonhead.
I'm loving all these links you are including. The quizes are great and I've shared the "Touched by His Noodley Appendage" thing with a number of people (and yes, ordered a t-shirt from the guy).
